Ingage - Therapeutic Intervention wrapped in fun!

Ingage - Saturday Programme for Children and Youth in Care Based in TBRI®

Based on the Hope Connection camps run by the Karyn-Purvis - Institute of Child Development, our Ingage days incorporate the therapeutic framework of TBRI®.

Ingage has building connection at its core. Connection builds trust. Trust builds healthy relationships and facilitates healing. TBRI® has over three decades of global application and is specifically designed to help meet the relational and developmental needs of tamariki and rangatahi impacted by complex developmental trauma and loss.

Ingage provides a structured yet nurturing environment where tamariki and rangatahi feel safe, nurtured, and empowered. Our Ingage days put the ‘fun in fundamental’ for tamariki and rangatahi in foster care.

Become a Buddy

Being a key part of the healing journey for tamariki and rangatahi is a rewarding role and consequently Ingage is a great place to volunteer. Volunteers receive TBRI® training and skills on how to work with tamariki and rangatahi who have experienced complex developmental trauma.

This knowledge is likely to have benefits far beyond the boundaries of Ingage.

Ingage is delivered by Immerse Charitable Trust and is dedicated to directly serving children & young people in foster care. If you would like to donate* towards helping build a better future for them, please use the bank details below:

“The goal is to see the precious child that exists beneath the survival strategies & to let them know that we see them.”
